The St. Martins Church

I just visited the St. Martin´s Church in Landshut (my hometown). It´s a very rainy afternoon just like on monday and tuesday.I wanted to go out and do sth without getting wet.So I grabbed my cam and walked into the city centre ,after I walked around a bit searching for some good shots I saw the huge church It was built in the late 14th century and was with it´s height of 133,0m (436ft) ahead of the times. The whole church is built in a Gothic style.I never went in it before, because im not a very religious person. Inside it  I realized how huge it really is ,but see for your self:

  9. The second one is my favorite. It seems like there are lots of epic Gothic churches in Germany, I also have one in my home town. The Bokeh in the end is also well made but very cheesy ;).

  21. I would love to go to Europe one day to see things like this! A 700 year old church! The oldest things here are 150 years max! I can only imagine what it would feel like to stand in this church looking up at the roof and know that the people who built it died hundreds of years ago!

    Great post.

  29. It's easy to see how people can feel closer to the Divine with beautiful architecture like this! Great blog, my friend, following from here on out!

  30. really nice photos mates. I think that since religious people believe that god is everywhere, they shouldn't invest in building churches but help poor people around them. Building a nice church is not the key to paradise.
